I’m a writer at heart – a grammar geek through and through. Words can move us, tug at our heartstrings, and compel us to take action. Whether writing short, punchy social content or a complex informational piece full of technical terminology, it’s crucial to push through the noise and meet the reader wherever they are. These days, that’s often online.
With more than a decade of digital marketing experience, I’ve explored website content development, social media strategy, email marketing, online advertising, search engine optimization, event promotion, and more. I have found my passion in connecting with my community through well-grounded data and well-crafted words.
I look forward to working with you!
During my time working at Waukesha County Technical College, I have managed the day-to-day content on the College's public-facing website. This included managing site structure, writing website copy, optimizing images and videos, creating engaging layouts, maintaining well-organized file libraries, and more.
I oversaw several redesigns over several years to keep the website in alignment with evolving brand guidelines, as well as completed a full replatforming project to move our site from OmniCMS to Titan CMS.
I also implement best practices in search engine optimization (SEO), user experience (UX), and digital accessibility using WCAG standards.
In 2024, Waukesha County Technical College launched Wisconsin's first state-approved associate degree program in artificial intelligence and machine learning, accompanied by two short-term, career-focused AI certificate programs. The same year, the College also launched a capital campaign to support the building of the WCTC Applied AI Lab.
My work included building out website landing pages, writing copy for fundraising appeal materials, and working closely with faculty to understand and promote the new academic programs. Below are just a few samples of my contributions to this key institutional initiative.

Impact Sheets
I worked closely with enrollment staff and a graphic designer to write impactful copy for prospective student enrollment materials. This involved developing strategic messaging for viewbooks, segmented email campaigns addressing specific inquiry paths, and concise postcard communications.
I paid close attention to tailoring the tone and content to reach different segments of the prospective student population, including high school students and adult learners with varying backgrounds and goals, ensuring the right message landed with the right audience.
In 2024, Waukesha County Technical College leadership recognized that a new era of higher education has arrived. The College adopted a new approach to strategic planning, including a Horizon Statement and six Aims developed through direct input from students, staff, and faculty over several months.
I supported these efforts by attending focus groups, reviewing survey results, providing guidance on brand tone and voice, building a landing page, and writing copy for a printed overview document introducing these concepts to internal stakeholders and the broader community.
Supporting Print Material
Twice a year, Waukesha County Technical College publishes WCTC Impact. This magazine highlights the latest happenings, changes, and improvements at the College, and shines a light on student achievement. I support this piece by identifying student, faculty, and alumni stories, conducting interviews, writing features, and proofreading the magazine before it goes to print. This magazine is distributed to every household in Waukesha County – more than 165,000 homes. Below are a few of my favorite stories.

October 2019Outside of my full-time work, I enjoy helping entrepreneurs and small businesses with branding and promotional pieces. Over the past several years, I have collaborated with Olsen Moving Group to write, design, and print branded materials including flyers, brochures, estimate sheets, business cards, and more.
